Empowering our Community

As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), Tucoemas is committed to offering affordable financial products to everyone we serve.

CDFI

At Tucoemas, community involvement is not something we do, it’s something we are.  As our mission statement says, “Tucoemas exists to create financial wellbeing” for our members and our community.  To accomplish our goal, we’ve empowered a team with the sole purpose of reaching out to under-served neighborhoods in our communities, those that are often the victims of fraud, and predatory lending practices.

Through our Avanzamos initiative, we have partnered with some of the most influential and experienced partners, both locally and nationally, to help families and individuals create a financially-stable foundation.  Using powerful analytics and management tools from organizations like Salesforce, we immerse participants in a comprehensive financial education experience, partnering with them every step of the way.

Although the problems we are tackling are daunting, our efforts have a deep and wide-ranging impact in our community.  Our goal is simple: to eliminate financial fragility and elevate our community toward a better financial future, one family at a time.  As a member of the Tucoemas team, you are a partner in this life-changing effort. We believe that rising together, anything is possible.
