Scholarships

TUCOEMAS Federal Credit Union provides several opportunities for graduating high school seniors to apply for college scholarships sponsored by various credit union affiliated organizations each year.

The Education Exchange is sponsored by the Exchange, MPACT, TX and ACCELL ATM networks, along with TransAlliance, and electronic funds transfer processor. Through the program, high school seniors are selected from across the country to share a total of $50,000 in college grants. Thirty-four grants are offered to students each year based upon scholastic achievement, community involvement, qualities of character, and financial need. Grant amounts will be awarded as follows:

  • Four $5,000 grant recipients
  • Thirty $1,000 grant recipients

    Applications providing eligibility requirements and instructions are available at all branch locations.

    All entries must be postmarked on or before March 15, 2010.

    Students selected as grant recipients will be notified by July 15, 2010.
